I've been there several times, I like this cafe very much! My favourite dish is the hot sandwiches, they are absolutely delicious, the recipe is special, they are definitely the highlight of this place! You can also order them for take away, by the way. I'm impressed by the wines in this cafe, too. They are really tasty, it's obvious that they've been carefully selected to please the guests. You can also choose out of the variety of other alcoholic and soft drinks to your liking. What's most important to me is the cleanliness. Each time I enjoy the stainless glasses and cutlery, as well as the neat and tidy processes of cooking and serving. The rest room is very clean and tidy as well. The interior and exterior design of the cafe please the eye and have a soothing impact. The hostess is absolutely charming, she sincerely cares for her guests. When it's warm outside, you can comfortably sit on the terrace, which faces the beautiful and quiet inner yard. I highly recommend this place to everyone visiting the Old Town of Meißen!

The service was very timely! We got our food very quickly and staff were very responsive when we wanted to ask some questions about tea and order some more sandwiches. I had mate tea and it was served in a beautiful double wall tall glass, with the tea itself in an amazing glass test tube "tea bag". They actually served the mate with the metal drinking straw, which really added to the experience, along with a very buttery cookie that wasn't too sweet, and a little chocolate-covered berry. I also had two of the hot vegan sandwiches, which were delicious. The combination of ingredients in the sandwich was really unique, comforting, and fun, highly recommend. I also got gluhwein. I'm so grateful that this cafe is thoughtful enough to serve that year-round, they are geniuses. Sometimes you just need gluhwein, and it's often hard to get outside of christmas time. I also had the gulash, which was very hearty. Oh, and I had a little cake kind of like baumküchen. So just lots of fun items on the menu! I also really loved the decor, I love their idea of a porcelain cafe. And the space is beautiful inside, with a spotless bathroom, but there is also a really interesting outdoor area. The outdoor area is part of a courtyard, and half of it is covered by a stone roof and both refreshing and very sheltered and cozy. The other part is open and very charming, with a little garden along its border. All in all, fantastic place!
